G.O.S.P.E.L. Journey
G - God created us to be with Him.
(Gen. 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.")
O - Our sin separated us from God.
(Romans 3: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,)
S - Sin cannot be removed by good deeds.
(Romans 3:20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.)
P - Paying the price for sin, Jesus died and rose again.
(1 Peter 3:18 For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,)
E - Everyone who trusts in Him alone has eternal life.
(John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.)
L - Life that's eternal means we will be with Jesus forever.
(John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.)
